ALE RUARO'S PHOTOS SHOW THE GROWING POPULATION OF HOMELESS PEOPLE IN BRAZIL'S LARGEST CITY


The photographer Ale Ruaro has been documenting the homeless in the central region of the city of São Paulo, where he has lived for two years. 'Some I see daily, others disappear and I wonder if they inhabit another space or if they are no longer among us', comments the photographer.

According to the Census of the Homeless, conducted by the City Hall of São Paulo, the number of homeless people has grown 60% in the last four years in the richest city in the country.
