TAIPAS

Atualizado: 18 de dez. de 2018

Housing of many Brazilian families, the houses of mud, made of clay and wood, resist in Andressa Zumpano's photos

From the ground that is stepped, one builds dwellings. TAIPAS is a way of life, in the rescue of ancestry through home and people.

It is a color race of the earth, which builds itself up as an identity and is built through the many hands of a struggling people. They are many and resist, in clay and strength, in the law, by hook or crook.

In the mix of people and dwelling, it is rebuilt in one, in its walls marked by the fingerprints in the land of buried navel.

It is born and dies in territory. It reborn and undoes as many times as possible, destroyed by what is not, by who it is not. For those who possess, earth and taipa feed. Support.

TAIPAS are people, houses, territories. It is a movement that is made in the collective resistance and is rebuilt in the abode of one.
